Barbara initially started her career in real estate because of the opportunity she had giving tours of Monkey Island and the Grand Lake area through clients visiting Shangri-La Resort on Grand Lake. Sharing the excitement of a first time homeowner or a vacation/retirement home enticed her to become a realtor.

Barbara is known as the go-to-person on Monkey Island. She can find what you’re looking for or know someone that can.  In speaking with a friend, she described her as loyal, honest and hardworking. She has a contagious smile and a problem solving approach with solid constant work ethic

She and her husband Paul currently own/operate the Grand Lake Regional Airport, Landings Market & Grill and Landing Marina and have for the past 20 years.

Barbara has an AA in Business Management & Marketing. She spent her whole life in customer service related businesses including owning & operating restaurants, marinas, an airport and a day spa.

In the off season, she and her husband enjoy traveling and spending time with their five daughters, 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, most who live out of state.

She works with the community Christmas Toys for Tots drive and other local charity & church events.  Barbara was a volunteer first responder for 8 years and continues to support the local fire department.
